Recert: Standard First-Aid w/CPR-C (1 Day – Recertification course)
Wednesday, October 11, 2017 – 8:30am to 4:30pm – $119+GST

This course is specifically for those that need to recertify their “Standard First-Aid w/CPR-C”.
*Must have a valid certification to qualify.
First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training for work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Course covers a variety of topics from basic (circulation and breathing emergencies, and prevention of disease transmission) to in-depth topics (sudden medical emergencies and injuries to the head and/or spine).

Standard First-Aid & CPR-C (2 Day Course)
Wednesday, October 11 & Thursday, October 12, 2017- 8:30am to 4:30pm – $169+GST

First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training for work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Course covers a variety of topics from basic (circulation and breathing emergencies, and prevention of disease transmission) to in-depth topics (sudden medical emergencies and injuries to the head and/or spine).

Marine Basic First-Aid & CPR-C (2 Day Course)
Wednesday, October 11 & Thursday, October 12, 2017- 8:30am to 4:30pm – $169+GST

This course covers skills needed to recognize, prevent, and respond to first aid emergencies. Includes CPR C (CPR for adults, children, and infants), CPR with the use of an AED. The course includes information on performing first aid in confined spaces and an emphasis on hypothermia as well as all other first aid skills to provide care for major and minor emergencies covered in the Standard First Aid and CPR C course.

Designed for anyone who would like to obtain a rating certificate or endorsement or a Master or Chief Mate limited certification or is the person providing first aid on board a vessel engaged on a near-coastal voyage, class 2, or sheltered waters.

Wilderness First Aid & CPR C ( Weekend Course )
Friday night, Saturday & Sunday, November 10, 11, 12

The Wilderness and Remote First Aid course is a three day certified course in Tofino. This course takes place over 3 days; Friday evening (Nov 10) to Sunday (Nov 12). Only the Friday evening portion (CPR portion) of the course takes place inside. The rest of the course is run in the field with a focus on hands on experience. Students will learn and practice; spinal immobilization, building splints, building stretchers, carrying patients in a stretcher over rugged terrain, treating hypothermia, re-aligning fractures and dislocation as well as a variety of other wilderness rescue procedures.

Recert: Advanced Wilderness and Remote First-Aid & CPR-C (Weekend Course Recert)
Friday night, Saturday & Sunday, November 10, 11, 12

The Advanced Wilderness and Remote First Aid (AWFA) re-certification course is a three day re-certification course in Tofino. Only the Friday evening portion (CPR portion) of the course takes place inside.
