Standard First Aid and CPR-C. Wed. June 6 – Thurs. June 7, 8:30am to 4:30pm – $169+GST
3 year certification. Comprehensive two-day course offering first aid and CPR skills for those who need training for work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Course covers topics from basic (circulation and breathing emergencies, and prevention of disease transmission) to in-depth (sudden medical emergencies and injuries to the head and/or spine). This course is run in conjunction with the Marine Basic class, students also have the option to take the same class and receive a Standard First Aid certification rather than Marine Basic First Aid. Held in Tofino at the Legion
Marine Basic First Aid and CPR-C. Wed. June 6 – Thurs. June 7, 8:30am to 4:30pm – $169+GST
5 year certification. Comprehensive two-day course offering First Aid and CPR skills for marine/finishing industry. Course meets requirements outlined by Transport Canada. Held in Tofino at the Legion.
Wilderness & Remote First-Aid. 20 hour Course – Mon. June 26, 6pm to 9pm, Tues. & Wed. June 27 & 28, 8:30am to 4:30pm – $269+GST
Wilderness & Remote First aid involves practical scenarios and hands-on learning. The 20hr Course is often a requirement for sea kayak and other guides operating in remote areas. Red Cross Certified. $269. Held in Tofino at the Legion
